Ad Astra per Aspera
"through hardships to the stars"
Let's always aim high together.
There is nothing more satisfying for me than that moment when you shared a little piece of insight into a new product or project, and your team is more than excited to jump up from their desks (or couches) to start the project for the company. That moment when we all say, “Yes, Let’s do this!” I have had the opportunity to work for amazing entrepreneurs that share their top qualities of motivation and passion, creativity, vision, self-discipline, persistence, and risk-taking. These qualities pour down to employees, and I benefited by this in all the unique workplaces throughout the years.
Also, working with teams that develop these qualities pushes me to excel in my career. I have been an active reader, self-taught tech learner for many years, forcing me to explore new opportunities in my career. Currently, working for a digital marketing technology firm, Consumable, as the VP of Operations, I am constantly reminded about the changes in technology and how each update can create unique product development demand in the advertising industry.
My years of specialized experience include results-focused sales, marketing, and ad operations with a thorough understanding of sales, contract and support process, extensive knowledge of Salesforce, content marketing, customer engagement, sales, and client support strategies. I have proven ability to drive sales gains and increase department productivity. I specialize in deploying internal projects for teams to align with the business goals.
Supported technology integration by designing workshops and planning large-scale professional development events for employees.
Provided knowledge and support of multimedia tools to enhance the online training experiences.
I am looking for an opportunity to work with a team of educators that strive with the common goal of serving in a community building an educational experience for all children to achieve beyond the stars. I want to align myself with an educational community I believe in and where I can create positive change by supporting the infrastructure and design of programs leading to educational advancements for students. I am always looking to learn more and am open to taking on challenging projects.
As a current student at Teachers College, Columbia University working on my master's degree (MA) Instructional Technology & Media. I am looking to become part
of a team that believes in education for all students.
This degree examines the relationship between the design of technology, digital media, cultural context, social interaction, and learning. I am working towards understanding the individual through empirical research and empathic engagement in the design of instructional technology not only technically proficient but educationally valuable.
My goals include researching learning outcomes for digital learners, creating opportunities for continued growth for individuals through coaching and mentoring.

My daughter has been attending literacy corner for quite some time now and she loves it. Every morning she is very excited to see Ms Jennie and start reading class. My daughter has such positive things to say about literacy corner each and every day she goes. She loves listening to stories and then doing a craft to reinforce the letter of the week. Ms. Jennie is amazing and I am happy that we had this opportunity to participate in literacy corner. I would highly recommend this program to all children attending preschool.
My 4 year old daughter has been attending Literacy Corner since it began this past September. She attends the AM session (now 3 days/week) before her Montessori school begins. I cannot say enough about this program. Ms. Jennie has created an incredible early literacy program in a fresh and exciting
format. Each week there is a book theme, related activity/craft, & a featured letter/sight word(s). An outline of the content (which goes beyond the aforementioned) & format of the program (including agenda/lesson plan)
is sent home in a handout so parents know what is being presented and can reinforce. Ms. Jennie also sends a text via the remind app which includes the above (which is especially awesome for busy working moms like me). My
daughter enjoys/loves everything about this program, but what I believe is especially appealing to little early readers is the emphasis on books! So many of the early literacy programs get bogged down in the 'process' that
they don't leave enough time for child-directed reading time. The simple act of an early reader choosing a book that appeals to them and sharing it with others is the beginnings of a lifetime reader. I am grateful for this program and what it has offered and inspired in my daughter. Highly recommend!
My 4yr old son has been going to the book nook center for about 5 months he (and I) just love it!! It's a great way to reinforce all of the things he's learning in school. They practice the alphabet and the sound each letter makes, and of course read stories. Each day he comes home with a craft that he made, usually a letter that he is working on that week. It's a wonderful place and I'm so glad we found it, I would highly recommend the book nook to anyone who has children.
